Iluka Surrounding Areas - Yamba

Yamba Yamba is considered by some as the sister town to Iluka, just busier. Like Iluka, Yamba enjoys all manner of water-sports, the impressive Clarence River fishing fleet and beautiful beaches. Clarence River Ferries runs a daily shuttle to and from Iluka, or to drive around by car will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Yamba features a number of eateries, ranging from intimate café’s, to renowned restaurants. The little lighthouse on the hill is a great place for a picnic or a spot to watch the trawlers at sunset. Angourie is a hamlet not to be missed and the freshwater Blue Pools located right next to the beach are a lovely spot to spend the day. Many sporting events are held in and around Yamba’s beaches, and the annual Seafood Expo showcases the wonderful local seafood.
